In the Shadow of Liberty: The Search for James Oronoco Dexter
When Independence Historical Park began an exciting Archeological dig on the grounds of the Park, Mitchell Smith of MediaSmith Films was tasked with documenting the dig and conducting insightful interviews with the archaeologists and historians involved. Academic leaders in the field of post-colonial America with an emphasis on early African-american history were chosen to be interviewed for the film.
Mitchell Smith of MediaSmith Films provided all cinematography, audio and post production services and wrote and performed the original musical score.
